The SPDR Bloomberg Barclays 1-3 Month T-Bill ETF is an exchange traded fund, which is a financial instrument that represents a collection of different securities that together track and are influenced by a specific financial index. This ETF seeks to provide investment results that generally correspond to the market performance of the Bloomberg Barclays 1-3 Month US Treasury Bill Index. The fund is managed by State Street Global Advisors, the asset management arm of State Street Corporation, and the creator of the world’s first ETFs, established in 1978.
This fund aims to provide investors with exposure to zero coupon U.S. Treasury securities that have a remaining maturity of 1-3 months, by tracking an index designed to measure the performance of public obligations of the U.S. Treasury that have a remaining maturity within this time frame.
Securities within the Index are denominated in U.S. dollars and must be fixed rate and non-convertible. The fund is rebalanced on the last business day of the month and has a monthly distribution frequency. |
