Crocs Inc. is an American footwear manufacturing company based in Broomfield, Colorado, serving a worldwide customer base. The firm manufactures and markets the well-known Crocs brand of foam clogs alongside various other types of footwear. The firm was established in 2002.
Initially known for its versatile, slip-on clog-style shoes, Crocs Inc. has expanded to provide other styles of footwear including boots, sports shoes, and sandals. The company reaches a worldwide audience via almost 400 company-owned stores, along with a large number of third-party retail stores as well as its own and third-party e-commerce sites. The company has customers in more than 90 countries, with the majority of sales being international rather than US-based.
The company has sold more than 720 million pairs of Crocs since its founding, and it is one of the world’s 10 largest non-athletic footwear brands. The firm owns a number of international subsidiary brands, including Jibbitz, the firm that manufactures the add-on charms frequently used by customers to customise their Crocs footwear.
